For several years the state has consistently delivering a half dozen teams to the TARC finals. These teams from Alabama scored in the top hundred ranking nationally and will compete for the <\/span><\/span>2022 championship against <\/span>teams from 26 states on May 14 at The Plains, Virginia as they vie for $100,000 in prizes and an all-expense paid trip to London for the International Finals.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The schools and cities are:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tharptown High School*, Russellville<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Lincoln High School*, Lincoln <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Russellville High Schools*, Russellville<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

West Morgan Middle School, Trinity<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Colbert County 4-H, Tuscumbia<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Muscle Shoals High School, Muscle Shoals <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

*Were also at the finals last year. Russellville finished in fifth place.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Other Alabama teams selected as alternates are <\/span><\/span><\/span>Phil Campbell High School, Phil Campbell,<\/span><\/span> and <\/span><\/span>Hackleburg High School, Hackleburg.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

HARA would like to salute the seven Huntsville area teams for their efforts in building and flying this year:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama (2 rookie teams)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Civil Air Patrol – Redstone Squadron<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

St. John Paul II C.H.S. (2 teams)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Bob Jones High School<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

James Clemens High School.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks to the rest of these Alabama schools for registering and participating in TARC. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
