HARA kicked off the flying season hosting an Open House at Gigaparts 9\/26\/26. Over 60 visitors attended along with ten HARA members greeting the guests and explaining all aspects of sport rocketry. Scale models, HPR, hybrids, CAD operations, altimeters and firing systems were all on display with informative posters. We gave away 30 rocket kits to the children, and the club gained 10 memberships. Some veteran club members dropped by making the day into almost a HARA reunion. The Bob Jones High School American Rocketry Challenge team came out and answered questions about their team and rockets. The event also promoted the upcoming HARA launch on October 10.<\/p>\n
