DRiving directions from Huntsville

Take I-24 to exit 111, US 55 to Manchester/Tullahoma/McMinnvile. From the ramp, turn right and cross over the interstate. Turn right on Ragsdale Road, right before the Golden Gallon Market.

Follow Ragsdale for 7.2 miles, then turn right on Hickerson Road. Follow Hickerson Road for approximately 2.1 miles. As the road takes a right angle, look for the range head setup.

Parking:  Parking and Prep Area will be located along the periphery of the sod farm.  AUTOMOBILES ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE SOD!

Camping:  Camping is not allowed at the launch site.

FAA Waiver Information:

Standing 10,000 ft (AGL) waiver is in effect for every launch.  Waivers to 20,,000 ft AGL are obtained for special cases.

Motor Support: QuEstes motors: (1/8”, 3/16” rods), APCP motors

Pads:  E-K:   1/4", 3/8”, 1/2” rods, and small and large rails. L and M: One Away pad with large

rail is usually provided. Please notify HARA in advance if you intend to fly L and above motors.

RESEARCH LAUNCH INFO:  The following apply to launches designated as (Research) in the calendar...

1. • All research rules apply.
   

2. • You must be a Tripoli member 18 years of age or older to fly commercial motors.
   

3. • You must be a Tripoli member level two to fly research motors.
   

4. • Certification flights are allowed at research launches.
