Registration Fees
There is not fee to come and watch the launches. All adults 18 years old and older need to register in order to fly at Southern Thunder. All flyers under 18 years old (with a paying adult) fly free. Registration fees are:
- $20 – One Day
- $30 – Two Days

1. Online with PayPal
With our new PayPal catalogue you can pay your registration fees here on the website. You can even pre-order you t-shirt.
2. Friday Night At The Ambassador Inn
HARA personnel will be manning a table in the lobby at the Ambassador Inn from 6PM – 8PM. Swing by to register, and get your range pass, t-shirts, and raffle tickets in advance. Then you can get right to work on your rockets Saturday instead of waiting in line.
3. Register In The Field
A registration tent will be set up at the range both Saturday and Sunday and will be manned all day. You will be able to register, buy shirts, and raffle tickets. Cash and checks are the easiest to accept in the field. we will have a limited ability to accept credit/debit cards in the field (surcharge may apply).
Interested In Helping as Range Crew?
There are a couple of openings for Range Crew Positions at Southern Thunder. Volunteers who finish a 2 hour shift earn $10 credit towards Southern Thunder gear like your flyer’s fees, t shirts, or raffle tickets. There are only a few slots remaining.
